Thank goodness it's hot and easier not to over eat. I'm being very careful to record everything. I know it's all relative but how much have you all managed to lose in the 12 weeks? I would love to lose a stone and a half in that time but will really need all the help I can get to keep going.

Hi JudieT. I've lost 13lbs in 14 weeks. When I completed the 12 weeks I just kept going and started again with Week 1.
I know others have lost more or lost less. I'm happy with what I've lost and intend to keep going until I reach my target of 9 stone 10lbs. In fact I intend to keep going after I reach my target and become a maintainer. But for now I'm working to my next target which is to get to 10stone 7lbs - that gets me to my first stone.

Well done keeping a record of everything you eat, this is so important 😀 With regards to weight loss, actual FAT loss can only ever be between 1-2lb a week, anymore isn't really possible, and the rate depends upon how much you have to lose, and upon your own personal metabolism. Just as important are the other Non Scale Victories such as actual inches lost, increasing fitness and better health.

I'm just as pleased at managing to swim laps at the pool without feeling like I'm going to pass out right there in the pool after one length!
I've found recording to really helpful and I would also suggest weighing food as well. I couldn't believe how much I was over eating after finding out what a portion really looked like!
