Ninety-nine red balloons go by

Well this week I hit a big nine, which is good because I am on the way down. I am not looking at it as much to say nine more pounds in this stone range, more as to say I have knocked five pounds off the last stone. I could have chosen “9 til 5” as my song but for some reason 99 Red Balloons has been going around my head.

Next week I am hoping to hit the seven mark which means I am back in my own happy range, just in time for my holiday. Happy range for me is between 12 stone and 13 stone 7, but each one of us is different so do not set that as your range.

Ninety-nine dreams I have had

It's all over and I'm standing pretty

In this dust that was a city

I know it has been a tough week for so many people, and my heart goes out not only to those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire either directly or indirectly, but also those who have had a tough week whatever life has thrown at them this week.

It's all over and I'm standing pretty

Living in London and being a Londoner, I can say that the mood in the city has been pretty low since the first attack back in March, combined with the attack in Manchester and then the London bridge attack it felt as though it couldn't go much lower. Then, this week with the Grenfell Tower fire, it sent the mood plumetting again. So we really appreciate gestures like this. We are the greatest city on Earth and we will pull through!

I have worked in London so many times; for example I was on the team that built Swiss Re (The Gherkin) ... the most recent was a six month contract ending in January 2017 and I live not too far from Manchester! Live well my friend

It has been a very tough week your song and the ballons is great. My in-law was one of the fire fighters at the Grenfell fire. He saw things he will never get . I am about 2 miles from the fire and we could see the black smoke. Thank you for your gestures. Thank you.
