Took the day off to run the 10k today. Back on track tomorrow. Although half marathon next weekend. Running season has definitely started. Loosing weight has definitely helped my pace. I look forward to loosing more and increasing my pace even further.

Thank you Seuzan. Not sure about super fit lol. I try my best and really enjoy it. Especially with the crowds cheering people on.
I did the couch 25k running programme and do 5k 3x per week. I love the feeling of achievement at the end.
Not sure I could do 10k yet though....
Well you do 15k each week so I bet it you slowly added 1 k each time you'd be running 10k in no time.
Yes you are right, if I break it down into small steps it is definitely possible. I was seeing it as a massive leap to double the distance.
When I think back to starting the couch to 5k, I never dreamed I would be able to run for a full 30 mins without stopping (not even 1 minute actually!).
Small, manageable steps is the way forward....
