Hi, I’m new here and I want to use the NHS 12 weeks plan. My BIM is 24.1 so less than 25 but I want to control my weight now. Can anyone advise if 1400 calories intake per day will help loosing weight with less than 25 BIM?

Good luck with your first week.
Won’t work with a BMI of less than 25 unfortunately as classed as ‘healthy’. Shame they don ‘t do a personalised calorie allowance for maintenance of healthy weight.
If you put in a 'fake' weight that just takes you over the 25 it will give you a range which you can adjust accordingly. Unless you're significantly below 25 you won't really need to adjust it at all.
If you log into the myfitnesspal website/app that should be able to give you a figure. You can set your goal weight or you can set it as loss/maintain/gain and it will give you a figure. Its great you have a healthy bmi and this forum is amazing for support xx
Thank you for the support. I’m a bit lower than 25 therefore I would like to keep it before it goes up. I will use the app. Thanks
