Hi and welcome to forums, congratulations on your engagement.
As a fellow asthmatic just wanted to say please make sure you look after yourself and try not to push yourself beyond what you are capable of each day with exercise (well what exercise you can do given your injury). You have a lot of time to lose the weight so take it slow and steady.
Daily dairies are great and its nice to be able to pick up ideas from other. Joining one of the weigh in days as well is motivational and you are sharing the experience with lots of different people.
welcome to the forum. You are now amidst a whole bunch of buddies. I started at the end of October and since then my asthma got under control as I started eating more healthy. I don't know how it is related but it worked. I also have a injury that worsened with my added weight. After loosing 15kg I can feel there is something wrong but all the pain is gone. All I actually want to say is be active on the forum and try everything that nhs has on offer. It worked for me. You are going to be a beautiful bride.
i love that you have given yourself a good amount of time because it is a journey rather than a quick sprint. my weight was going up and i have lost a stone and now in healthy weight range, but i can tell you even that small amount ,compared to others, has had a great benefit to my health. i used to have heartburn, achy feet and pain in my hip. i do pilates every week and walk loads. I can almost guarantee that you will feel tonnes better after starting to lose and eating healthy. The first 2 weeks are the worst, then you seem to settle into it and enjoy the good feeling!
