Can someone please help me? I'm an 18 year old female 12st 1lb and I want to be 10st 1lb by August as I need to fit into a dress 😅 10st has always been my dream but I am never able to reach it like ever!! I lost 1st already but it's taken so long because I have a sweet tooth and I am addicted to chocolate I hate it so if anyone has a meal plan they could give me or any advice that would really help me because I turn to food as a comfort and it wrecks my head>_< thanks so much

Hi Shaunaxo
Welcome to the weight loss forum.
Take a look at the Welcome Newbie post in the Pinned post section at the right hand side or at the bottom if your on a mobile. Have a look at the nhs 12 week plan, many members have had success following this plan. Use the BMI checker to work out your daily calorie allowance.

Have a good first week.

I do think 2st is unrealistic why 10st, unless you have a dress that is far too small to fit into?
I suggest you check out ways to curb your choc addiction, lots of help online, no one here or anyone out there has a magic wand , will power and techniques to help are out there tho.
The nhs 12 week plan is a good starting point, food will never really comfort you and you need to address the issues as to why you overeat, face the demons and find help please
I find stocking the house with fruit helps although I know that even too much fruit can stop the weight loss. Could you build in some relaxation into your day when you are feeling stressed. I think it will be difficult to lose two stone by August and it is easier to set small targets that you can reach. Personally, I cannot limit sweets and chocolates I have to banish them completely as I never can stop with one chocolate. Good luck you are not alone.
Come on you can do it You may not have reached 10stone but if you put your mind to it you will get into that dress. Its not all about weight. I have only lost 8 pounds in 9 weeks (but Im delighted with that ).I can see my waistline coming in and have had to make 2 new holes in my belt. I loved chocolate.I now only buy 80%dark chocolate. Because it is very bitter it is not so moreish but yet I can have a piece or 2 with a cuppa which satisfies me. Only you can do it but with encouragement on here.I have faith in you and will be following you. Dont waste the weeks till August thinking about it Show us what you can do.Im willing you on
Hi, take each day as it comes dont aim to be a certain weight at a certain time as you are only lining yourself up for a disappointment if you dont reach it. Not to mention the pressure you will be putting yourself under. Take the dress back if you have bought it and buy one nearer the time to fit the weightloss you will have achieved by then. You are only young enjoy life and lose weight healthily and that way you will keep it off. Good luck
Hi and welcome.
Having a sweet tooth and wanting to lose weight is so hard but it can be done. You need to have realistic goals and expectations, and really think about why you are wanting to lose the weight. The mental battle is just as important as the physical one I've found.
There are great recipe and exercise ideas on here. I've found keeping a food diary helpful as its quite an eye opener when you write things down and realise just what you've been eating
