Yesterday I decided to try preparing meals in advance for lunch so I didn't overeat or end up eating something unhealthy to avoid wasting too much time making something. I got these nice tupperware boxes and then made an 'Italian' salad (I improvised)... So there's 50g of brown pasta, parma ham, red onion, sundried tomatoes, kalamata olives, jalapenos, grilled red pesto chicken and some extra red pesto and tobasco for dressing with seasoning! It's actually delicious and I've been eating each portion with a quarter of a lettuce and a quarter cucumber hope everyone is having a good week - nearly at the weekend!!!

Since being here, I take my lunch to work (never used to). Yesterday my client bought everyone onsite, fish and chips. If I hadn't had my peppered mackerel and salad, then that might have been a temptation and half.

The smell was tempting but I've become enamoured with so many new foods.
I wouldn't be surprised if I haven't eaten more salad in the last 4 months then in the whole of my life and I actually enjoy it. I'm now enjoying the flavour of lettuce (didn't know it had any ), I prefer the crunchy bits of lettuce now (only ever ate the leafy bits), I grate a whole carrot over the top (wow... eating raw carrot ).
I sat amongst them and couldn't help feeling vainly superior.
