We decided as hubby has a foot injury we would catch a bus (for the first time in over 4 month's) into town (we normally walk) to our delight and surprise we both fitted quite nicely in the seat, in the past we have been squeezed together for a very uncomfortable journey, just goes to show the difference it's making π
So I'd like to thank all of you for your on going support and motivation, I wouldn't be doing this without you ππͺ
I really like your picture and I am glad you are feeling proud. You should be proud! I felt he same on a plane recently and my husband was glad I wasn't spreading on to his seat so much!
Thank you Stevo5585 I'm pretty sure he'll live, he thinks he's pulled it, says it's sore on the instep, if it's no better Tuesday I'll send him to the doctor xx
It's the little things that make all the difference, Kat and it's important to make a note of them, because it's amazing how quickly we forget how difficult life was and start to take our new bodies for granted.
Love the pic Katmt, reminds me of watching Charlie Brown cartoon on TV when my children were younger. Loved the way the grown ups talked if anyone can remember that?
Anyway, back to you. You must feel like you are really making progress. It's like being able to wear clothes that you haven't been able to for a while because they were too tight.
Keep up the good work and don't be taking that bus too often LOL.
Thank you NannyEJ yes I remember π I love the Charlie Brown cartoons π
It certainly does feel great, I do need to look at clothes as I was told yesterday I'm starting to look like I'm wearing sacks ππ my son definitely has a way with words π― and no if he's not back to walking by next fortnight I'll be walking into town on my own ππ xx
It's lovely that you thank the forum for support and motivation Hidden , but it's you who has done all the hard work - you should feel proud - Well done
Thank you lucigret I may be doing it but I can assure you if it hadn't been for the people on here and there fantastic advice I'd still be in the yo-yo cycle, but I'm not I'm eating better and having fun something I'd never thought possible until I joined and become active on here xx
