I have eating eating around 1000to 1100 cals a day for the last month but advised to up a little which was great advice.
I was 10 stone 4 pounds a 7 pound loss starting weight 10 stone 11
I felt a bit tired yesterday and decided to up my calories a little as I thought my headache could be my need for a few more calories as advised.
I have been really watching my carb intake and sticking mainly to fish and chicken, lots of vegetables including carb veg eg carrots, etc and fruit. This made up my 1000 to 1100 cals per day. I've had a really good diet with the best quality of food. No rubbish.
Yesterday and particularly last night I added around 150 calories extra due to my thought it could be I should up calories more to find my level.
I had a slice of toast and before anyone asks me YES I did count everything immaculately
This morning I got on the scales and I'd put a whole pound of weight on.
I have stuck to the calories every day never failing but since I've added an extra 110 calories re the bread I've put on a pound.
I know it takes an extra 3500 cals for a pound and this seem quite impossible but I've gained a pound overnight ?????
I do wish to up my calories to around 1250 but I just don't wish to ruin my efforts over the month especially now I've lost the weight. I'm 55 so it's not periods or menopause.
Has this happened to anyone else on here. I'd appreciate your comments. Please give me advice as I'm so worried now I've upped my calories as advised that I won't be able to lose weight and I've around another 2 stone to go to get healthy.
Re exercise I can only walk due to osteoarthritis. The Weight loss is also to take the strain from the knees.
Please don't say this is impossible because I've actually gained a whole pound literally over night. I've been so strict on all days.
