Roller coaster!

1st day and I feel emotionally like I have been battered on a roller coaster of emotions and all because of food. Feeling horrible right now. I am about to go my first half hour walk soon.

Things will settle down, ollio, you just need to learn some different techniques for coping. I'm sure the walk will help :)

I enjoyed it but I have found today extremely hard. Tomorrow's another day. Thanks for asking, I am already feeling less alone.

Try not to let food become your focus, there's lots of things you could do to distract yourself, read a book, watch tv, do you have a hobby, drink loads of water. Don't give up it does get easier I promise. Hope you enjoyed your walk hopefully it has helped. Good luck xx

Thank you. I did enjoy my walk. I had to constantly tell myself to go. But I suppose it's good. I am telling myself to go everyday. If only for 30 mins. The eating gets to me. But today was good.

Glad you enjoyed your walk, 30 minutes is a great start. What is it about eating that is getting to you? There's so much help and support available on here but if you are specific someone will be more able to help. Really pleased you've had a good day. You can do it xx

Its the snacking that has always been my downfall....it is my weakness. I know that but I am trying to think of healthy fat free snacks or at least low fat and not just carrot stick and humous with celery coz I hate them all. Help would be useful for me here.

Have a look at change 4 life they have a section on 100 calories or less snacks, slimming world recipes have a good few ideas, how about fruit, natural yogurt, rice cakes, pink and white wafers or rivta

I tend to avoid low fat biscuit bars they are definitely not as good for you as they look, Go shopping and have a good look at the ingredients before you buy. I also make a branflake cake as a treat

Hope I've given you a few ideas, good luck xx
