Hope your week has been really good π It's been a bit of a dodgem ride in Flossie land !.
Good news, have lost 5.2Ib this week so nearly of my holiday gain gone but it's been a struggle. Since home have had loads of family catch ups as niece is over from Australia but this has involved lovely food and a bit of alcohol and I still struggle to say no.!!! We all had a meal out on Tuesday I ordered well and asked for no chips but ....... they served a tub of twice cooked crispy, golden loveliness and before my sister could catch the waiter I'd eaten half eek !!!
I an weighing a day late as unfortunately had an unexpected overnight stay in hospital, I had another seizure on Thursday but home yesterday evening and today feeling good( maybe confined to hospital food has tipped the scales in the right direction eh lol)
Today I'm going to Woodhorn Museum in Northumberland with my sister in law.It is a mining museum and they are showing a display of some of the ceramic poppies that were in the Tower of London last year so really looking forward to it. It's a bit dull but I think a walk along the Northumberland coast is just the job!!!
Sorry to hear about your seizure on Thursday, and glad you coped with the overnight hospital stay, and it's good news to hear that you're feeling much better today. I hope you enjoy your walk along the Northumberland coast, and that you enjoy the Ceramic Poppies at the Mining Museum. I saw those poppies in London, and they were amazing.
Congratulations on losing nearly all of your holiday gain - losing 5.2 pounds in a week is phenomenal, and you did especially well to do that in view of having your niece over from Australia.
Hopefully you won't be negotiating another dodgem-ride kind of week in Flossie-land next week, and you'll have a calmer ride, all being well.
Wishing you a great weekend, and a good week ahead.
The poppies were fantastic, I did visit London last year and was amazed at the display. It is the cascading window that has been built around the metal mine head, it was really stunning.
I'm really pleased with the Ibs off but to be fair I think that maybe some of the holiday gain was fluid !! so once back on track settled??
I'm hoping for a boring week, plodding along and no drama lol
I'm feeling ok, just don't like the drama it brings for the family.
Poppies were fab, it was the cascading window fixed to the metal mine head.I did not buy a one last year but hope once the exhibition is finished they will be on sale again. My sister in law bought a one Lat year and she has it in a single stem vase with coloured glass bits in the bottom and it looks really nice.
Had a lovely time breathed in a bit of sea air at Newbiggen by the sea and just think how lucky am I
Have a lovely weekend
π
Oh 'eck, t'wud seem this 'being in the wars' thing is catching!! Glad your hospital stay was a short one hunny and you are feeling much better now. Your day sounds lovely, my only plan is to finish my cup of tea and take myself to bed to sleep(hopefully) in readiness for tonights shift, lol. I may look that museum up as my friend and I are having a short break in May next year in Northumberland, I am planning on taking her to Beamish as she has never been which will see one full day gone, just two more to fill. Enjoy your trip hun, a review would be fab? π

Thanks Shellie,
You'll be at work but hope you are doing ok and have a good sleep tomorrow πBest can find for sleep lol.
The museum was really interesting I am not from mining stock but was still good.its not very big so if out for the day there is the coast very near ie Blyth and Newbiggen by the sea.The poppy display ends next week but I'm sure there will be something else.
Beamish is fab and so big now, will you be staying in Northumberland or will Newcastle be your base ? I'll keep my eyes peeled for stuff and let you know .is this your first visit to ' The Toon' ?lolπ
Throughly enjoy your time off
π
Hi Flossie great work on reversing the holiday gain, hope you're feeling more positive now! I'm sorry to hear you also had a hospital stay. If only you and Shellie had known you were there at the same time you could have called each other on the hospital phones perhaps... Hope all is well now, and hope the seizure hasn't had lasting effects in the meantime. Stay well, and enjoy your long walk, sounds blissful

Thanks Ruth,
That raises a chuckleπ I'm doing ok I find the best way is just get on with it, I hate all the drama these seizures cause for the family I just wish they could pinpoint the cause as up till Jan 2015 had never had one before and meds not always holding me.
Had a lovely day though, hope things good your end
Wow flossie what a fighter you are hun your just amazing. So very glad to hear that you have recovered from your seizure and then to get up and get going again just goes to show you have true determination and will power. Ain't no stopping you now What a GREAT loss you have had this week of 5.2 lbs what a way to make a come back after your holiday gain. That's massive babe and many congratulations on achieving this result this week
Enjoy your walk along the Northumberland coast and hope the rest of your week goes swimmingly
Think the initial gain was mostly fluid as not been that strict but hey ho better than a poke in the eye with a sharp strick lolπ
Had a lovely day and feeling really focused for the coming week.Life is for living and I take each day at a time.still doing squats and planks but have missed a few days so while will never catch you I'm trying lol
5.2lbs down after family get togethers, after chips and after a seizure and a hospital stay??!! Good grief Flossie, you're amazing, I can't imagine what you'd achieve on a humdrum week. WTG you! You rock!
Thats is a fantastic loss and just shows you have been working towards it. I know you mentioned a little stumble there but seriously if you have lost that amount of weight a tiny stumble is nothing.
Sounds like you have some outings planned which is great
