Hi, I am very new to this and have spent the weekend reading some of the wonderful posts, I am starting my journey from today.... Can you tell me how I join a weigh in group please and what do I do, I think a Wednesdays would be good for me.

Take a look at the Pinned posts section to the right of your screen (bottom if you're using a mobile), read the Welcome Newbie thread, then move through to the challenges, where we hope you'll find at least one that will appeal to you
Move down to the Topics, to find a variety of threads, collated into specific topics for ease of access and we ask that you also 'file' your own threads, so that others won't miss your important news
Take a look at the 12 week plan, as a lot of people have been successful with it, making sure to enter your details into the BMI calculator, to get a calorie allowance tailored to your personal requirements. Don't forget to take your starting measurements and a 'before' picture, as they can be very motivating on days that the scales refuse to co-operate
We run daily weigh-in's and you'd be very welcome to join us. The threads can always be found in the Events section, to the right of the home page, bottom on a mobile.
We've found that to get the best out of this community, we need to be active on the forum, as it's where we exchange information, get motivation and inspiration and make friends. We hope that you'll join us here, regularly, too

Still trying (and failing), to find the weigh-in place...........still, never mind, I'm reading everyone's posts and it's helping. I have lost 2 lbs and am aiming to lose another 6 to 8 lbs. Not easy, I was fighting my chocolate and sugar urges with fruit, so now I know too much fruit doesn't help either.............!!!
Tansy-ann, I'm not sure what you're doing, but this is an 8 month old thread that you've posted on.
This is the link to the Newbie Club thread again. Read it and re-read it, as it has all the instructions for navigating the forum and you can keep referring back to it, to refresh your memory.
Well, rest assured this is the best, most positive place to come and you know the old proverb - a journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step - well done you have taken it!
Join in with the posts, give everyone the benefit of your experiences and everybody will share with you. I don't do any social media except this and I have to say it is motivational, inspirational and just full of great advice, hints and tips.
Enjoy your journey, each step of it is important, even the less positive ones tell us something and we can learn from them, if we are prepared to.
Hi and welcome Cuckoogoose To find the weigh-in section If you are on a computer or tablet I find the home button just above the page where we read other people's comments and questions, in a strawberry type picture. I click on this and search for the events section or sometimes even find the weigh-in information for that day. Once you do find it and join it for the day you want to join in, follow it and you will be sent the information every week and not have to worry about finding it all the time. If you are on a mobile all of the threads are apparently below all of the other information and you should find the home button here. I sometimes find the weigh-in information in posts next to the home button. Try here if you still struggle with finding it. Good luck with it and all the best with your weight loss.
