Has anyone any good ideas for healthy, filling snacks? I have a good breakfast at 6.30, but then lunch isn't until 1pm. However, we do get a 10.30 break, so something healthy and filling would really keep me going until 1pm.
Thanks in anticipation guys.

I always have a snack around 11.00 every morning and the things I eat are:
Pear - 90cals
30g Yogurt covered cranberries - 116 cals
2 Go ahead Yogurt break biscuits - 146 cals
Melon and Grapes tub from Iceland - 74 cals
Rice cakes - 41 cals each
Satsuma (med) - 45 cals
Hope this helps. Take a look I the Topic section for the post on "Recipes/meals/snacks" which will have more ideas for you.

I've been having 25g of mixed fruit/nuts which is about 130 calories depending on the mix I suppose! While this looks like a tiny amount, I nibble them with a black coffee and they keep me going!
Hello castiggy I have small handful of whole almonds (I think 10 is about 70 cals) doesn't look much but stops you feeling hungry, also maybe an apple, orange approx. 70 cals . Another option is a cold boiled egg 100 cals roughly, a bit smelly!
Same here, found it easier to eat at work, as we were not allowed to eat at our work station. I'd go to the kitchen and make everybody drinks, that gave me enough time to eat the banana.
For me it is avacado! I have half an avacado on a piece of flatbread with some tomatoes. It is about 300 calories which is higher than other snacks but I really enjoy it and it is filling. It is healthy too there are many health benefits of avacado. A different piece of fruit wouldn't fill me and I'd have to force myself to eat it. Then my snack becomes a chore and it puts a downer on my healthy lifestyle.
