Hi Pinklady73
Welcome to the weight loss forum.
I follow the nhs 12 week plan and look at it more as healthy eating and a life change rather than a diet, like you I've tried them all. Over the last 7 months I've lost 4st following this plan.
Take a look at the Welcome Newbies post in the Pinned post section on the right hand side or at the bottom if on a mobile. Have a look at the nhs 12 week plan, many members are having success with this plan. Use the BMI checker to work out your daily calorie allowance.
Below the Pinned posts are the Topics where members share a range of weight loss subjects.
Take your measurements at the start of your journey along with a photo so you can see the changes and it is motivating on the days when the scales don't move.
We have weigh-ins everyday, come and join us today. You can find them in the Events section on the Home page on the right hand side, just click on the post and state your starting weight and your goal for the week.
To get the best from the forum be active, share experiences and tips. Read through the posts in the Topic section they are very motivating and good for inspiring us to keep going.
Enjoy your first week.

Hi Pinklady73, I'm 53 and have tried 'diets' on and off for about 15 years now. Currently doing ok in week 5 this time. The thing that's changed for me this time is that in my mind I am calling this a lifestyle change. That is, this isn't a moment in time in my life but a change in the way my life is organised and something that I intend to be always.
Just words! Maybe. However, they're working for me and maybe they'll mean something to you.
Good luck
So where do I find the diet plan?
Also is there an iPhone app?
Hi I don't think dieting works unless you constantly stay on it. The problem with diets is most people try and starve themselves to lose weight. What this does however is make your metabolism slower as your body is desperate to hang on to any calories it gets. As a result when you inevitably go off the diet you will not only put the weight on but even more. It's called to-yo dieting.
The only way to lose weight and to keep it off is to eat healthily but still watch portion sizes. x
