Long term sufferer of weight gain. In 2015 I lost over 2 stone, in 2016 I put nearly all of it back on. Was going to join one of the slimming classes again, but while researching diets, came across this NHS plan. Going to give it a try and hoping to increase my activity levels 😊

Hi ChrisHB
Welcome to the weight loss forum.
Take a look at the Welcome Newbies post in the pinned post section on the right hand side or at the bottom if on a mobile. The post includes the nhs 12 week plan and a BMI checker to work out your daily calories.
Feel free to join in with any of the challenges also found in the pinned post section. have a look at the "January Amnesty" post in the same section as it can help support with getting into the right mind frame to losing weight.
Our weigh-ins are run from Monday to Saturday. Most days are full now but we do have spaces on Thursday and Saturday at the moment. You can find the weigh-ins posted on the home page on the right in the Events section.
Join in on the forum as this is where we all get our support and gain lots of information on healthy eating and exercise.
Enjoy your first week.

Welcome to our group, ChrisHB, and good luck. You've already proven you can lose the weight, now you just need to do that again - and then keep it off. Wishing you success!
