Hi there, Can anyone recommend a decent fitness DVD I could do at home? Im looking for an aerobic type with easy to difficult levels. Any recommendations, tips or advice? :)

Hello.

Can you look for stuff on you tube? It has loads of vids for you on it, watch a few and choose the one to suit you.

My friend likes the new Davina one but I prefer digging the garden......now that's a work out and you'll have robins waiting for the worms.

Cleaning windows also get my pulse rate up and it always feels great after - win / win.

Hope you find you perfect one, there's lots on YouTube xxx

Have a lovely weekend :)

Maybe you ought to put your workouts on youtube jopo digging the garden is a great one 😊

I love the Zumba dvd's myself. I find the uplifting music makes me want to dance without even thinking that I am exercising. Also I feel to self conscious of my weight and lack of stamina to go to a class at the moment. At least with the DVD I can pause when I need a breather.

Hi Hidden 😀 my favourite fitness dvd (and ive tried a few!!) Is the davina 5wk fit. I did it religiously last yr for a few months 3x a week and noticed a huge difference in my shape and muscle definition. After the summer it dwindled abit until I stopped altogether in October. I've only just got the box out the cupboard (and with my 3yr old ... lol 😂) gave it a go on Weds. Really enjoyed it and will be jumping around with davina and the rather delightful Ed so im all toned up ready for the warmer weather 😎

The dvd itself has 2 warm ups (so ur not bored of just the same one) and several hiit style work outs which last for 7mins (with an optional 3mins if your able) then a stretch section which really works. All in all it takes 30 mins. The workouts are varied focusing on legs or tummy or all over. Some even incorporates weights which I really enjoy 😅

In the dvd I got it gives you a 5wk fitness schedule aswell to follow to get maximum results. I didn't follow this bit only due to time restraints.

I hope I haven't got on for too long but look it up and give it a go ... it worked for me xx

Yes try you tube, i use the body coach, aka Joe Wicks. Twenty minutes of high intensity work out at home . You don't need anything but a party r if trainers

I've got a few of Rosemary Conley's DVDs, and I think they are pretty good. You can do all the exercises at 3 different levels depending on age/fitness, there are different lengths of routines and you can join shorte lengths together quite easily. Most importantly, the exercises can all be done in the average living room and you don;t need any special equipment other than a pair of trainers, and leggings/t shirt.!

My niece, not known for her love of activity, has purchased the Davina DVD and she loves it.

I have a davina "fit in 15" dvd'! It has several workouts (one for legs, one for arms, one for cardio etc) and it is really good, but it is not a beginner dvd in my opinion! Lol or maybe I'm a lot less fit than I thought! :)
