Well I've done the Leslie Sansome one mile walk for beginners. As recommended by Itsbab. It was hard going as it's faster than the usual stroll I usually do. But I enjoyed it and will do it again every day along with maybe a Rosemary Conley one. I will get there I know it this time, it's as if a light came on in my brain and now I know I can do it thanks to all you lovely people on here. X

Well done! I started on Leslie Sansone 1 mile walk too, also take a look at her 1 mile happy walk - it makes you feel good! I've gradually worked my way up to the 3 mile one now and on a good day can take a 4 mile brisk walk outside so it can be done! Enjoy !
Like Caz28, I also started on the one mile and the one mile happy walk (for a change), and have now progressed to the two mile Leslie Sansone walk. I do find that indoors it's easier than walking round the village, but can manage the two mile walk round here, although it takes me about an hour!
Enjoy your walking, especially in the sunshine 🌞🚶👍

I've seen these workouts recommended around the forum and I don't really know a whole lot about them. Do they require any special equipment or anything? There's no point if I have to go out and buy a whole load of stuff, but I could really use something structured I can do at home, especially on those days I can't get in my usual swim.
None at all VickyDLM. in fact I do it in my nightie and slippers, (not a pretry sight) although it would be better in trainers. But I have to do it before my DH wakes up as I am his carer and he needs all my attention during the day. Give it a go it's brilliant x
Definitely worth trying then. I'll have to give it a look out. I like that they're on YouTube so you don't have to lay out a load of money.
If you can fit it in around your job as a carer than I have no excuse! (I know you're not necessarily a carer as a job as such, but it very much works out that way for "informal" carers.) I salute your dedication!
No its on YouTube ☺
Hi Bobbivee
I am glad you tried the walk as you can stop and just go at our own pace and lessen the extra movements she does if it is too straining. It is also nice to take the laptop / iPad outside especially on these sunny days. 🌞🌞🌞
Thank goodness my neighbour one side is slightly deaf and my son lives the other side who already knows my eccentric ways, I have a tiny metal bridge over my fish pond and I have been know to walk the garden over the bridge counting my steps, I fear one day the men in white coats will take me away!!!😱😱😱😱
Well done Bobbivee!
I tried a walking video, at the beginning of my journey, but my sitting room is very small and I'm very clumsy, so it didn't work. I also tried a zumba video, but I've got two left feet. My latest is a belly dancing video, which I do with my granddaughter, which is great fun!
Happy walking!
We need details moreless 😊 I like these walking videos too, the fat burner is good as well, but any recommendations for others is also welcome 😊
Here's the belly dancing one Anna

Happy jiggling!
Hi Bobbivee. Glad you like the walking You Tube video. Another one I have used is the Jessica Smith Walking Workout on You Tube. She has many videos on there - some short some long. Just wanted to say in case you fancied trying something different. I know you can do it - best of luck
Many thanks have noted this and will have a look. I'm so excited about doing this xx
I think they are great. Some are only about 10 minutes long so you can easily fit one of those in a day. I have been known to do one while dinner is cooking! Glad it has got you excited
