Take a look at the Pinned posts section to the right of your screen (bottom if you're using a mobile), read the Welcome Newbie thread first and move through to the challenges, where we hope you'll find at least one that will appeal to you
Move down to the Topics, to find a variety of threads, collated into specific topics for ease of access and we ask that you also 'file' your own threads, so that others won't miss your important news
Have a look at the 12 week plan, as many people have been successful with it. Don't forget to take your starting measurements and a 'before' picture, as they can be very motivating on days that the scales refuse to co-operate
We run daily weigh-in's, but Monday's and Tuesday's are full. You would be very welcome to join any, between Wednesday and Saturday and the threads can always be found in the Events section, to the right of the home page, bottom on a mobile.
We've found that to get the best out of this community, we need to be active on the forum, as it's where we exchange information, get motivation and inspiration and make friends. We hope that you'll join us here, regularly, too

I have been on a weight loss journey all my adult life ,and have tried everything from soup diets to weight watchers,lost most of my weight and put it back on x so I know how hard your journey has been,hang in there you will find a way slowly and healthy,I found setting little goals have helped me this time .

I've started slowly. Need to loose several stone, but no jogging yet. Doc said swimming. Also dropping off food slowly - something off the menu each week - cakes - puds - bread . You have to WANT to do it and I got to wanting to instead of needing to.
I'm new too , not sure what I'm doing yet .but good at supporting people. There's still a lot of things to read . I'm just getting on scales ....🙁 Here we go !
