I have not posted for many months but by last May I had lost 3 and a half stone. Put 1 stone 5lbs back as I had family issues from may onwards through comfort eating, had a nasty chest infection during December and then of course part of this was my Christmas weight. Started on my new plan on Monday 9th January and have started swimming and walking at least 10000 steps a day and at today's weigh in had lost 5 lbs back to my prechristmas weight of 14stone 10lbs. I have always found this forum very supportive and am looking forward to being part of it once more

Your tale mirrors my own - successfully lost 3 stone and then along came family problems, health problems and Christmas to pull the rug out from under my feet!
Have gained around 7lbs since November and have rather half heartedly been trying to convince myself to get back into weighing and measuring and recording my food. Finding it harder this year to get "back in the zone".
A timely reminder today is a rather sore hip - aggravated no doubt by my extra 20lbs or so I am still carrying around....
Good luck with your renewed determination, ...lets promise to make the most of the sunny weather to get active, and keep our heads busy with non-food related activities!
