so I created this salad myself and really enjoyed it

what you need:

ice burger lettuce (finely chopped), tomatoes (finely chopped), mix with cooked prawns or tinned oily fish or boiled eggs, add a bit salt, vinegar and olive oil (if you use oily fish, can forget about olive oil)

That's it! I find it very tasty:)

That is high in healthy protein, includes 2 of your 5 a day, and low in carbs, so an excellent meal! That's the way to do it.

that's exactly why i like it:) a bit of olive oil, vinegar and salt can turn boring salad to a tasty one. before I came up with this one, when i served lettuce with pizza, lasagna or other "heavy" dish, no one touched the salad!

Do look out for some of the very tasty balsamic dressings or glazes which you can buy - they add some interest to a salad too, without too many calories.
