Hi Fizzyliz, I am hoping to lose at least a stone and a half...my downfall is
crisps and cashew nuts...chocolate too....got to stop lol.
Welcome MadBMad Wonderful to quit smoking, very well done! If you can do that then you can definitely lose weight It always helps to have an incentive, too, and I can't think of a better one than a cruise!
jopo has already mentioned the 12 week plan, that's how I started, and I found it very good. Small changes to incorporate exercise are another way to help shed those pounds, and make you feel healthier. Take stairs instead of a lift, walk more etc.
I'm so envious of your upcoming cruise and we'll definitely help you to get fitter and healthier in time for it

We run daily weigh-in sessions and you would be very welcome to join, on any day, except Sunday. The thread can be found in the Events section, to the right of the home page, bottom if using a mobile.
Have a look at the 12 week plan, to see if that might be something that would appeal to you and don't forget to take initial measurements and photos, as it's a great way of seeing just how far you've come, especially when the scales aren't co-operating fully
