Since retiring, I've slowly piled on the pounds , and thought this was more my thing than weight watchers , which I did loose 2 stone at , only to put it all back on ! So fingers crossed I can do it !

Time to get back on track !
I'm the same as you - slow but sure weight gain since I retired last May. I also lost weight with weight watchers but got fed up with it - so hoping this approach will change my outlook on eating for good!
Hello Imherself and welcome to the forum. I hope you find this site as supportive and motivating as I have done. If you look at the pinned posts on the right hand side of the screen you will see one called Welcome Newbies it has loads of useful information about how to use the site. Also it gives links to the NHS 12 week plan which many of us have used with great success. It is great for breaking bad habits. Also check out your calories allowance on the NHS BMI calculator which tells you how many calories you can eat and still lose weight. I wish you luck and determination
