Have a good look around the site, especially the Newbies post and the links to the NHS 12 week plan, ☺ this is a very healthy way to lose weight, but as we are not trained and you are under 18 I suggest you visit you GP to get his approval first ☺

At 16 and with only 5-10 lbs to lose you need to speak to your parents and your GP to check whether or not that is really necessary for you to go on a diet at all. You would do better to cut down on portions and increase your exercise a bit. You don't say how tall you are or what sort of food you currently eat so it is impossible for people to give you any proper advice.
