Hi Diana,
I am sorry to hear you've having a tough time work wise, and emotionally - and really well done for not trying to fix that with food - that takes a lot to cope - and all credit to you for feeling better for not resorting to comfort eating.
Glad your lovely Cat is giving you lots of lovely cuddles - they sound great!! Sending you a big hug from a human too - i.e. me to you!
Just do your best, you can do no more than that, and I hope that things get easier as the weekend progresses.
Hope you can relax a bit and unwind before the next bout of work begins. I really hope you've got some time off over the weekend to recuperate.
Take care,
Lowcal
Aw Diana, I am sorry you're having a tough time. *virtual hugs* Yes, cuddling the kitty will help!! Mine is very snugly but some times slightly unpredictable and what starts off as a cuddle can end up in spontaneous ninja moves to get away from his claws!!
Well done on sticking to your healthy eating, remember, no-one ever regrets healthy eating but you might regret giving in, especially if you're in a vulnerable space right now. You're doing really great though, I'm very proud of you.
Sazkia x ♥
So kind, jusy missing my deceased parents in my younger brothers 50th party
Sorry youre having a tough time. I hope you feel better soon. Well done for still eating healthily. Hugs xxx
Oh man, if there were calories in cat cuddles, I would be the size of a house!
Lucky for us it's a sweet treat we can have every day.
Chin up hun, work always gets better eventually 😉
aw sorry you're having a rough time. Hope your job move comes soon and all goes well with the dentistry. Well done for not giving into emotional eating. Hope things seem brighter tomorrow.
Dear Diana, don't be sad,
Even if things seem really bad.
If life is getting in a muddle,
Call your kitty for a cuddle.
Don't be temped by that cake,
Best to eat a juicy steak!
More nutrition in some beef,
Just wait until you get some teef!
You can get through it Diana x we are all here for you x
Hope you can distract yourself from thinking about work this wknd. It makes sense you'll think of your parents at a land mark like your brother's 50th birthday. But the best way to get through is by looking after yourself. Hope you can have some long walks, do some things you enjoy, find non food comforts as well as simply making healthier food choices
Well I suppose big parties, were big clan get togethers, my eldest brother ( I have 3 brothers) was 60 last year, a big family party happened, we all went.
I'm off to see s great friend today and catch up on cat cuddles
Two good plans there (both human and cat related). Have a great and well deserved day off 🐱
Well done Diana for not giving in to the temptation for a quick fix 😊
I know you are struggling with bereavement, and it is s very difficult thing to get through 😢 Remember you need to be kind to yourself, and allow yourself to grieve. Grief does not have a time limit. I lost my mum 21 years ago next week, and I still cry on occasions. I believe this is a healthy and vital thing to do, but unfortunately, not something the British, in general, are good with. 😕
And I agree about animal therapy!! Nothing soothes like striking a beloved pet ❤️🐾❤️
Hi Diana,
Sorry to hear you've been feeling low. Well done for not succumbing to temptation 🎉
I on the other hand have not been that great, I've gone off track the last 2 weeks, but I'm hoping I've turned the corner today as it will be the first day I've stayed within my calorie allowance.
Sometimes we just need a bit off "time" mentally to refocus and breathe.
Best wishes 😊💜
Going off track will not help at all, no excuses for me, feeling brighter now tho
