feeling low... i need a kick in a butt :(

In one week - put on the weight i lost, no running, bad died (as in wrong food), very emotional just feeling AARRGGGHHHH ;-( i need to find a way back to that place i was like a week ago ;-(

You know what you did before and you can do it again. Everyone has a blip now and again. Start again tomorrow. Good luck.

Hi MoNi88,

Some weeks can be tough or more challenging than others, but please try not to let it get you down too much. Sorry to hear you're feeling emotional at the moment, but maybe that emotion needs to be let out and expressed, and then you can move on from it and focus on making tomorrow a better day - I really hope that things get better for you as the week goes on. Maybe have a read through of the NHS website pages - they can be helpful. Maybe you can do some running tomorrow, or a walk? Maybe think about some things that you could do that you'd enjoy.

Maybe pre-plan your meals for tomorrow, and use Myfitnesspal to record you food and drink intake - then you can plan a healthy day's food, and hopefully enjoy it.

Hope you have a good week in the end. Hopefully tomorrow will be a brighter day, in lots of ways.

You aren't alone MoN, happens to us all. It is really hard changing bad habits but you have to keep at it. You just have to learn from it and move on. I just read what you put when you joined. Read it yourself and that should shake you up and get you going again. Keep in touch at all times!

We all have times of doubt, sadness and even bad days when we lapse 😟

Sometimes we don't want to get up and exercise because it's cold, wet, stomach ache etc etc....

We all need motivation and purpose to continue with our journey and you came to the right place 😀 x

We all yoyo with our weight, some weeks I lose, others I maintain and unfortunately sometimes I gain.

Start again tomorrow as tomorrow is a new day 😀 and tell yourself

'Yes, I can'.

To motivate me I put pictures of me at my heaviest on the fridge, cabinets etc....

I also keep a bowl of carrot sticks and cubed Apple by chair/bed in case I get peckish and the Apple helps me with a sugar boost...

I hope your journey goes better for you and remember we are all here to help each other...

The normal process for anything to take affect is continuous cycles until something clicks. It could be worse, you could never have started in the first place and then where would you be? Therefore you are better off no matter how you're feeling. Being hard on oneself may be a life habit but a kindly reality check that you're doing something very positive rather then not doing anything at all. Chin up, love yourself and take the next small step toward creating a small positive habit. It may take longer than you're giving yourself. You are magic and inspiring for having the courage to say this on this site. You're doing good just take the next small step now but only if you feel good about it.

Thank you very much for ur kind replies!! i needed to 'hear' all of that.. been to the Dr this morning, blood test have been taken, now is just a waiting game..

Moni what's happened girl. You were doing so well then this. You can get it back just think of the good stuff at the end. Everyone has a blip. I haven't been out for a week and tonight I went out and did 10 K. It's very much a mind set. You can do it you just need to will yourself on. But just in case I'm sending you all my will power to carry on. Come on girl you can get it back :) J

ugh idk :-/.. i must have fallen into a hole while running lol ... :-\ one day my joints were hurting bad after run and then i didnt run for 2-3 days n my routine just dropped (seen Dr to check for arthritis which is probably not the answer for the pain)... then had friends around for BBQ started piggying lol (not that bad but just felt like i was)

tnx for the encouragement tho :))) very good news on ur run 10k .. i just read about the records :) well done :) im gonna try to run again my W6 in a day or two.. def gonna keep goin.. :)
