Hi Sazkia, thank you. Looking forward to the ideas and motivation.😃
Well done for picking yourself up, dusting yourself down and starting the plan. Have a look at the welcome newbies post and feel free to join in with any of the challenges and Monday weigh in. Looking forward to hearing from you again. Xx
I will do, thank you. I feel absolutely gob smacked at my BMI, I never even thought about it very much. I knew the weight was creeping up year on year but I assumed I was healthy because I eat quite healthily. I know my appetite is good and I love my wine but there is really no arguing with a BMI of 32.3! I happened to watch the BBC 's Obesity: The Post Mortem and decided to google what scale my own weight is categorised as and well here I am! Hope to be a successful as you guys.
Hello there! I'm sure you'll do really well, especially with the forum here to give you support and inspiration! See you around!

Hello Wantmybodyback 😊
Good luck with your weight loss journey. This forum is great fun with lots of support 😊 When you get chance check out your BMR which will suggest a target calorie range which is an excellent place to start 😊 My only advice is don't be tempted to eat too little, the weight didn't go on all at once and a slow loss is much more sustainable 😊 You mention you akready eat healthily so it probably just portion control that needs tweaking 😊 Best wishes 😊
What is BMR?
Sorry, I should have explained. It's your Basal Metabolic Rate, or how many calories your body needs every day. There should be a link on the newbies thread, or you can google "BMR". You will need to know your height and weight, and be asked how active you are. It will then give you a range of calories to aim for 😊
Good luck
