Another good day, very proud of myself today, went to see a friend this evening and she offered me all these really lovely, naughty things and I refused....I had absolutely nothing .) I'm still calorie counting everything and enjoying it. Little apprehensive about the weekend as my routine is all out but going to do it.....

Wow, well done resisting! Good for you, you should feel proud!
I'm sure this positivity will carry through to the weekend. Have a think about some low cal treats you can I have. I have bought myself a bag of coconut and vanilla flavour popcorn that I am planning to have, only 122 calories a bag!
Well done Kathygodders that must have took some willpower and a great feeling I'm sure :). Much harder when temptation thrust at you! Keep up the good work you can do it!!
Ruby8 great minds think alike! Bought a packet of popcorn the other day to cook at home over the weekend in case we get the munchies and thought my son might enjoy the popping. Might add some coconut and vanilla for flavour as we have desiccated coconut and vanilla essence in... maybe cinnamon too which is good for me... mmm yum I'd best go to bed before I start cooking it now
I've recently found you have to be careful with coconut though. I've discovered it's really high in calories for a small amount! I didn't find this out until after having eaten the coconut!
I've got an air pop machine for popcorn, which I really like. Not only does it not need oil, it's way less messy than doing it in a pot on the stove (due to the lack of oil). I'm all about not having to clean up!
Yeah thanks it does have lots of other good vitamins in it though... but I know it is high in saturated fat. This doesn't bother me in moderation as I have been eating and exercising so well lately and also fasting 2 days a week so I'm allowed a little treat :). Thanks for the heads up though in case I didn't know...
Hi the popcorn sounds lovely where do you buy it from?
Well done on resisting and I agree with the others; try having plenty of low calorie snacks on hand; that will help you avoiding hunger and also help to still be participating when in social settings; you'll still be eating like the others, except your snacks are healthier for you.
You will be fine with your attitude and positivity and wonder what you were worrying about come Monday.😊 Have a lovely weekend, hopefully we may get to see some sunshine but it's poring it down here today. ☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️
