Wanting to lose 14 kilogram

I'm currently at 66.3kg (146lb) and i would like to lose 14kg which will get me to 52kg (115lb) and that is halfway between my ideal BMI by September 2017. So any diet plan that will help me achieve this will be much appreciated and I am exercising regularly for an hour everyday.

Hi and welcome ayza :)

There are never any guarantees, but that sounds like a perfectly reasonable goal to me :)

Take a look at the Pinned Posts section, to the right of your screen (bottom, if you're using a mobile) and have a look at the Welcome Newbies thread, it has a link to the NHS 12 week plan, which is a guide to healthy living, rather that a specific diet plan.

Consider joining any, or all, of our challenges, as they're fun and motivating.

Join us for the monday group weigh-in. If you follow Zest and myself , you'll be notified when we post the thread. However, the latest thread can always be found in the events section, to the right of the home page.

Be active on the forum, as that's where we exchange ideas and get our daily dose of motivation and inspiration :)

Wishing you all the very best :)

Thank you so much moreless :) And I will try my level best to be active as I just really want to lose the weight which will be hard since I'm living with my family and they are not as health conscious as I am. They also love their carbs, so therefore carbs are always present during lunch and dinner which is not good for me but that's why I'm researching diet plans so that I can ask my maid to cook a meal separately for me.

That sounds like an excellent plan ayza :)

Maybe you should join our exercise challenges, for extra motivation :)

Is there any challenges that are for beginners who just joined the site?

All of the challenges take beginners, nobody is excluded and nobody is in competition with anyone other than themselves. They're designed to motivate, that's all :)

You will be made very welcome in all of them :)

One more question, how many days are the challenges for and how many calories do you burn usually when doing the challenges?

morelessAdministrator7 stone in reply toayza8473

The challenges are ongoing and aren't a set programme. It's up to you to decide when and how you exercise and you record your achievements on the challenge thread, with the other members. When you have the time, read through the threads and see what people are posting.

We don't focus on the calories that are being burnt, but more on the fact that it stops us from sitting in front of the television, eating chocolate! It keeps us accountable and makes us fitter :)
