Hi I am almost 50 and would love a magic rubber to erase some of my silhouette!
Would love to chat with similar people so we could help each other reshape our bodies and feel fitter by offering encouragement and support. Swapping recipes and snack ideas.
Hope you all achieve what you desire.

Hi new too and yes we need to encourage each other.
I would love that rubber too, I don't like seeing myself in the mirror, so magic mirror and rubber would be great😃
Hi Lottie sounds great . I have just bought a few bangles which I intend to wear on my left arm and as I lose a lb switch it to the right. Showing how far I have come and what's left to rub away. Hopefully as they move sides I will be encouraging myself to work harder. I really don't want them to jump back to left . X
Use your forthcoming 50th birthday as a focus for your healthy eating and exercise plans; promise yourself a slimmer body for your birthday.
Every time you feel like snacking or eating too large a portion, remind yourself of that lovely gift you plan to have on your birthday! All the family and friends who share it with you will be amazed too, especially those who haven't seen you for a while. It could be a great incentive?
I'm nearly 50 too (in September) and decided to use my birthday as a target. So far I've lost a stone and got back into the healthy BMI range instead of the being 'overweight'. I would quite like to lose a few more pounds to get down to my target weight.
The nhs 12 week plan was really helpful to me and I've now started the couch 25K programme to help shift the last few pounds.
Good luck and here's to the fabulous 50's round the corner. You can do it!!!
Take a look at the Pinned Posts section, to the right of your screen (bottom, if you're using a mobile) and have a look at the Welcome Newbies thread, it has a link to the NHS 12 week plan, which is a guide to healthy living, rather that a specific diet plan.
Consider joining any, or all, of our challenges, as they're fun and motivating.
Join us for the monday group weigh-in, which I have posted today, but which Zest will be posting in future. The latest thread can always be found in the events section, to the right of the home page.
