So today even though things are a bit mad this week I felt very motivated to start exercising again. I have done my measurements and weighed myself and set my goals.
I realized a few months ago that I have a huge sugar addiction, and even though I don't often keep cakes, biscuits or chocolate at home in my cupboards I would often when we do buy confectionery or when I bake I eat over the limit. Especially when it is movie time... I'm sure a few can relate to it... My day-to-day diet will be filled with fresh veggies and fruit and I will make enough food for one serving each for myself and husband but my downfall would be weekends when we might go out to eat or get some ''goodies'' from the store. I will literally go into binge mode.
So clearly all that nonsense has to end. To start I have to go back to having a treat once a week (preferably with not so much sugar and also on a set day), and not treat the weekend as a sugar fest of some sort. Hopefully eventually as I go on I can stretch it out longer. It is going to be hard because sugar as I'm sure everyone has heard is highly addictive, even more than certain narcotics (I won't know, but I believe them, because I sure feel how hard it is to escape the sugar cravings). It is going to be so much better for my health. (I think I have to say that to myself everyday, just for self assurance.)
Today I have done 10 minute of warm-up and 20 minutes of HIIT with a few seconds stops between each, tracked by my FitBit Blaze... it was intense, but it feels good afterwards. My muscles got a surprise attack, but they'll appreciate it on a later stage.
Hope everybody else had a good day! Bye for now.
