Officially lost weight.

Went to my nurse today for depot.

And, although she seems to have a fascination of measuring my height everytime I go (then measuring it wrong!)

Last time I went, about 12 weeks ago, she called me overweight and tried to refer me to a diabetic clinic thing - I didn't go.

When she weighed me, it was 4kg down from when I was last there.

Disappointed she didn't comment on it after last time.

I know 4kg isn't a lot over 12 weeks, but seeing as I've had a lot going on in that time. I think it's pretty good.

Hi Fit-ishPlum,

Wow, that's a great result - Congratulations on losing 4kg since you were last weighed - what a really great result! :-) I think it's brilliant that you've lost 4kg over the last 12 weeks, I really do - it's excellent!

I am waving pom poms, as I am excited for your progress, and I'd like to wish you another great week ahead.

Lowcal :-)

Hi, that's a good, sensible loss, it's not good to lose weight too quickly, so she should have complimented and encouraged you, perhaps she was having a bad day?! Maybe you will find her in a better mood next time, when you've lost even more ! 😉

Silly nurse! I am sorry you had to deal with her. WELL DONE! You have lost weight and done it in a healthy and sensible manner. Don't let her attitude bring you down. ;)

That's an excellent loss!! I lose about 1kg per month and I'm delighted with it! She probably had things on her mind 😕 Don't take it to heart, we are all delighted for you 😊😊😊

That's actually quite a good amount to lose over that much time. I'd be happy with that for the whole year so far haha ☺ But she should have offered some praise and encouragement. Doctors and nurses seem to go above and beyond when it comes to berating people for their weight these days, they should try to make more effort to praise weight loss when it happens.

I agree with everyone that you should be really chuffed with that, and it's good to be going steadily. So take heart and keep going! I would love to be down by 4kg!!
