Today is our Pearl Anniversary and I've had a lovely day!
Took dear old dog for a four mile walk in the pouring rain this morning - I walked quite fast too without aching too much. Poor dog very wet and bedraggled when we got home, but he absolutely loved the towel dry he got!
Been out tonight for yet another meal though! Not a good couple of weeks food wise. It was a Frankie and Bennys ( not easy there!) and had steak wrap with salad.
It's also my weighing day today - lost just 0.3kg, but not too upset at that. I know it's not even 1lb, but last week I lost 2kgs, so it's how it goes? I'm just going to carry on and keep exercising as much as I can.
By the way, we're going to Italy next month to celebrate our many married years!

4 mile walk ! that is great ! F & B are not easy ... very SCRUMMMY though, .....0 .3kg is good..... as I always say when standing on the scales after a week of "look I was as good as I could be considering ".... ...please don't be more ... please don't be more ! ... so any "off" is a bonus . Italy will be amazing ... is it north or south you are heading to ?
What a lovely place to go, we went to my nephews wedding there a couple of years ago it's breathtakingly beautiful. Have a lovely time. Well done on your loss too. 👏👏
Congratulations on your anniversary! Sounds like you are having a lovely time celebrating, and you still lost weight that's great. Pleased you and your 4 legged friend enjoyed your walk in the rain. 😊
Congratulations on your milestone anniversary. Well done with the 4 mile walk.... ha, maybe poor dog can recover while you're away!!?😁😁 You will LOVE Lake Garda, one of my favourite places in the world , last time we stayed in Malcesine, so beautiful. Enjoy yourselves!
No chance of a rest for dear old mutt! Daughter and son - in- law coming to stay and look after him! Son-in-law runs for goodness knows how many miles a day and they'll walk him big time - but he loves it!😊
