Hi everyone
just a reminder on Channel 5 @ 10pm tonight is a documentary called "No Fatties Allowed".
Looks at experiences of public abuse and discrimination. Appears intetesting however I don't think it is for the faint hearted.

Thanks, will watch if I can stay awake!
Same for me. π
I missed it but will try and watch on catch up. I'm fairly sure that it will be tame compared to what I've been through. I think the peak was when 3 Japanese tourists on holiday and York a couple of years ago were laughing and pointing at me and taking pictures. I thought, they've got Sumo so how bad must I be. Then you get the kids. On the bus one day and a wee tot pointed to me and shouted to his Mum, 'That's a big people'. He didn't know any better and it was quite amusing, although at the same time it made me question my life choices. That particular incident was the catalyst for me to say, enough is enough. I'm the one responsible for the way I look and the way I feel about myself so that's going to change. This time next year it won't be an issue.
How rude. Ok kids just say what they think but adults should know better. Anyone who looks 'different' appears to be fair game for judgement by others. When actually we are all different and that's normal. Lose the weight for yourself because you deserve to be healthy and happy π
