Just want to say this program is great. I've lost nearly two stone in weight since starting it mid Jan so I've dropped three dress sizes, from size 18 to 14. Keep it up guys you can really do it!!

Totally agree. I've lost 3st 9lbs since january. Got a few stone still to go but I'm feeling so much better for it and I'm so glad I did it.
I lost 20kgs (not just by increasing activity but the running definitely altered things and does make the other efforts more effective - less running = less weight loss) - but I am still the same dress size...

Main thing is cutting out junk food. Cutting down on take-aways. I do have the occasional treat. Eat loads of low fat yoghurt. Low carb stuff, smaller portion sizes. Drink lots of water. Cut out bread esp white bread. I eat a light cracker or salad for lunch with low fat dressings. Drink less alcohol. Watch out for sugary drinks as well. Limit the sugar. Special K and porridge for breakfast. That's my diet at the moment. I do eat lots of chicken, fish, cottage cheese, lentils and beans.
Just be careful that your low fat yoghurts have not got sugar added. Eggs for breakfast can also be a good idea.
Well done to you! I have only just started the NHS programme and hopefully in three months there will be a good result...a way to go yet, good to hear a positive result!
