Hi everyone. I'm new to the community and it is so encouraging to read all your stories. I live in N16 and was wondering if anyone interested in going for a run together? As it's hard to be on your own specially when a beginner.

Sorry I don't live near you... but just a thought I find that using a podcast played via my phone can feel like you've got a running buddy so you don't feel quite so alone. Try different versions of C25k - lots out there you can download for free and some more motivational than others. It really is a good starting point for a beginner runner!! I find running with others can be hard unless you are the same pace... I always run alone but I do have my dogs with me and run in the forest so I only see the odd horse rider or dog walker and I can play my music out loud without needing headphones :)

Hi Hidden I don't live near you but you may get more joy if you sign up to HealthUnlocked c25k running group. If you go to the menu box and go to 'browse communities' type in running or c25k and the group should come up. Good luck. Claire x
