Hey I'm a 19 year old student who's weight has ballooned since I've been to uni. I'm now 105kg and im hoping to get my weight down to 90 to start off with. Then after that get to 80kg. Wish me luck.

Hi Emliche,
I'd like to welcome you to the Weight Loss NHS forum, and wish you luck with your weight loss goals. We've got a Welcome Newbie post, which moreless has put together, which is in the Pinned posts area - top right-hand-side of the homepage, and that is a good introduction to the forum, as it contains lots of posts and replies from members.
I'd recommend looking at the NHS 12 week plan, as it is an excellent structure and has some helpful advice and suggestions.
If you like the idea of a weekly weigh-in, then maybe join our Monday group weigh-in sessions - look below the Pinned posts at the Events section, and there's a link to last Monday's thread, if you'd like to see what it's like. The next weigh-in is on Monday - so do join us if you want to.

Hi emliche and welcome
I started the 12 week plan on Tuesday and can't wait for my first weigh in next week.
My starting weight is 14 stone 5 so I am hoping to lose 5 stone in total but like you am setting smaller targets e.g. 1 stone at a time.
As Lowcal has suggested join the weekly weigh in which is posted every Monday it is a good way to stay motivated. I posted my starting weight to the thread and set my self a little challenge to lose 3 pounds by next week.
