I'm very pleased to announce that I've lost 5lbs this week. I thought I'd be hungrier counting calories but I've been quite surprised to find I'm not - seems as if fluid was the answer then - instead of eating I've drunk loads of water and cut my coffee down to 2 cups a day (used to be 10 or more)

Well done. Drinking plenty is a big key. I've started to buy lemon cut it up, freeze it. Nice to drop into a glass off water in morning. Very refreshing xx
Brilliant 5lbs loss! Keep on doing what you are doing Judyzuke, what are your daily calories?
My daily calorie intake is 1713 - 2202 recommended but my average for the week has been 1429 but I'm putting that down to the hot weather lol - I will probably hit the top end when it cools down. I've averaged 2000 steps a day which for me is more than double what I've been doing (don't walk far after a Stroke nearly 6years ago), so for me that is good. Shattered some days but determined to get 1:5 stone off on the 12 weeks challenge
