This week I aim to...

Make sure I drink enough water!

This will be my first week rebooting the 12 week challenge, and on top of watching my calories, I'm going to start making a pledge each week, a little baby step towards a healthier overall lifestyle, that will last after I've reached my goal.

Anybody else fancy joining me with their own pledge?

Edit: Ok, as I've had a few people show interest, I'll start posting these aims each week and let others join me as they please. I'll try to post on a Sunday night.

Good luck, I'm sure you'll do it if you put your mind to it. ;)

My pledge is to really work on my fitness this week. I've just got back from swimming but I intend to go again on Thursday. I am also going to the gym tomorrow and I have boxercise class to attend on Thursday too. :D I also walk my dog daily and live on a very steep hill so that gets my heart and lungs pumping! :D

Yes definitely like to join you it's so much better to do baby steps I remember when I first joined the forum and I posted I wanted to lose 2 stones before my sons wedding next July someone kindly replied and said to do it slowly and to start now not leave it He broke it down in pounds it didn't seem such a huge task I now have one and a half stone to lose and also it hasn't taken me over like it has before I'm doing it slowly but surely

Good luck x

Yes, slowly is a good way to go - you don't tire yourself out so much! Good luck :)

This website is really great for support if you need it :)

I hope your cholesterol isn't too high next week - hopefully you just need some minor dietary changes.

My pledge is not to eat processed food for a month and to exercise 5 days a week for 30 mins. Good luck everyone

That is a really good one. Processed food is really hard to cut out, but some of the alternatives you'll find are great! I love pinterest for this sort of thing. Good luck!

Hi Cooper27 I love your idea of weekly pledges and would like to join you. Hopefully by putting my own pledge on here would actually make me stick to it! I am on holiday next week so my pledge will be to put my pedometer on each day to make sure I complete at least 10,000 steps per day.

Good luck with your own pledge next week and look forward to hearing how you get on.

Have you seen the thread about "re-boot" challenge? I'm on week 9 and it has been really useful, especially reading other re-booters thoughts and reflections 😊

Yes, I spotted that a while ago. I thought it was over though? I do need to do a good reboot.

Think it's an ongoing challenge, you just post your own thoughts at the relevant week 😊

I'll join you in drinking enough water!

I've just started Week 1 and always struggle to drink water, so glad to join in the challenge.

I'm also on week 1, but not done too well so far as have been out and about virtually every day and we're away for the weekend too!! I'll join you in your water pledge, but also pledge to drink a glass of water BEFORE I have something to eat as I think it also helps to fill you up. Good luck everyone with your pledges. I think its a good idea to take baby steps along the way!

Having just finished TWO pan aux raisins (before I start again tomorrow) and having read your post, I am now motivated but still need more and luck to go with it.

All the best
