day two, let me at that veg

The boost i needed was getting on the scales this morning, and seeing a loss, that is a great incentive, now i do know there is speculation about how often you should weigh yourself, but as a seasoned "dieter" i am in the habit of jumping on every morning after my shower, and i think i would find it hard to break that habit. I know weight can fluctuate day to day also, so i am mentally preparing myself for on the odd day it will flow the other way. So after breakfast i m off to Aldi, only because Lidl is shut for renovations until mid-June. Our Aldi is on the outskirts of our town, not on the bus route and i have no car, so i will walk it and think that every step brings me closer to my goal, and getting healthy. Felling rather excited at what i may find.  Its very sunny here in Cheshire, and i now have 1 sprouting potato, 1 sprouting pea, and 1 sprouting onion. My neighbour and i are growing veg in pots and bags this year as a trial. So to see them poking their heads through, and me knowing that when i fiinaly get to eat them and that they will do me good, well, its great.

You're sounding really positive and happy today.  That's great to hear.  Lovely that you've got those vegetables growing, and it must be quite satisfying to watch them grow - knowing you can really enjoy the produce at some point in the near future. 

Glad you had a loss on the scales today.

I'll be very interested to hear how your veggies fare. Yesterday I planted out one aubergine plant and 2 sweet pepper plants, which is a first for me :)

I'm using happy scale, it's easier than doing a weekly weigh in, it gives an average, which I feel better about
