day two, let me at that veg

The boost i needed was getting on the scales this morning, and seeing a loss, that is a great incentive, now i do know there is speculation about how often you should weigh yourself, but as a seasoned "dieter" i am in the habit of jumping on every morning after my shower, and i think i would find it hard to break that habit. I know weight can fluctuate day to day also, so i am mentally preparing myself for on the odd day it will flow the other way. So after breakfast i m off to Aldi, only because Lidl is shut for renovations until mid-June. Our Aldi is on the outskirts of our town, not on the bus route and i have no car, so i will walk it and think that every step brings me closer to my goal, and getting healthy. Felling rather excited at what i may find.  Its very sunny here in Cheshire, and i now have 1 sprouting potato, 1 sprouting pea, and 1 sprouting onion. My neighbour and i are growing veg in pots and bags this year as a trial. So to see them poking their heads through, and me knowing that when i fiinaly get to eat them and that they will do me good, well, its great.

Have a great day everyone x

HI Roseyjaytay,

You're sounding really positive and happy today.  That's great to hear.  Lovely that you've got those vegetables growing, and it must be quite satisfying to watch them grow - knowing you can really enjoy the produce at some point in the near future.

Glad you had a loss on the scales today.

Hope you enjoy the rest of the day.

Lowcal :-)

Good for you Rosey! :)

I'll be very interested to hear how your veggies fare. Yesterday I planted out one aubergine plant and 2 sweet pepper plants, which is a first for me :)

I'm using happy scale, it's easier than doing a weekly weigh in, it gives an average, which I feel better about
