Day Two nearly complete

When I looked at those tasty biscuits waiting on the side at work, I thought for a minute it would be really nice to have one, savour the flavour and enjoy and I would of enjoyed it too. Then I thought again I really need to change, that feeling overpowered the need for biscuit, it has never happened to me before usually I would go for the biscuit this time I don't see any good will come from eating the biscuit or packet!

Also I have stuck to a sensible diet today so I have earnt another £1 to put in the kitty that brings it up to £2.

I am going out tomorrow night, If I stick to plan with what I plan on having will I (Dover sole, mention of butter on the menu) and for desert 1 scoop of sorbet or 1 scoop of icecream and the rest of the day goes to plan, would I earn a £1? or because I am eating out I wouldn't? I feel I should, If I stick to this plan, it is better then a normal day (as in a trip to the shop with chocolates and cakes and biscuits etc), what do you think?

Do you know what you are going to spend the money on?

Well I did write in my post yesterday that I am interested to buy a ticket to see the northern lights in Iceland, I have found a cruise for £2000 just for the ticket not the extras and that if I have 352 good days for 5.5 years I will of saved the money. But I was thinking that if I achieve a goal I will put £100 in the pot. I think each goal will be to lose one stone, and I'll only check my weight on rare occasions, maybe when I have some extra money and my clothes feel loose!

Sounds fab. Iceland is great, unfortunately the northern lights didn't come out to play when I was there.

Same happened to me in Norway, that is why I want to go to Iceland next time. The funny thing is locally the northern lights were spotted while I was away!

Sounds fab, that's on my bucket list as well!! Did you know you can see them in Finland also, they have sky gazing trips and land based breaks there.

Also right at the top of Scotland they are visible xx. The tip of saving £1 a day is a great idea!! I might start doing that!!

Enjoy your sense of achievement! I promise you, it will pay dividends.

Eating out is a gorgeous part of life, and it can be done without throwing away your plans for healthy eating.

Eat what you've planned and that's a success!

Yes, that's another pound in the kitty.

Enjoy your night out!😍

Thanks for your reply

Well done indeed. I have avoided going out to eat mainly, hard to find something suitable in many places. I eat 'flexitarian' mainly (that's mainly pescitarian with a some meat a couple of times a week). Next planed eating out is the weekend after Valentines day and it is a fixed 'Valentines' menu at a hotel, I am sure that the odd treat won't be too big a deal. As for biscuits, best plan is not too look at them, just pretend there is no such thing, never been invented, move along, nothing to see....

Fortunately I go out a lot unfortunately it doesn't help the waistline, I didn't stick to plan this weekend sadly but I didn't get carried either, so i'll try and be stronger during the week so the weekend can be less of a guilt trip!
