Thanks everybody for all the lovely comments on me becoming Overweight and not Obese any longer.
I have not as yet introduced myself properly so here goes.We are originally from SA and have been living in the UK for 15 years, becoming British Citizens 11 years ago. I have been married to the same lovely man for 42 years. We were at school together, but never sweathearts, just good mates. Things happened after leaving school and just kept getting better. I have two married children, my daughter is turning 40 and my son is 38. (Both living in the UK as well) I am a grandmother of three wonderful boys (11,7 and 2months) whom I call my "Loves of my Life" Gang. They also tell everybody that they belong to a gang.... do not know what people think about youngster being so proud to belong to a gang
Got on the scale again today just to make sure I am still in the OVERWEIGHT category and not in the OBESE and am glad to say, it was not a flook... it really is true. My grandson came home today and heard us joking about being overweight, turned around gave me a hug and said: Mammou, you are NOT FAT, you are just lovely. Now that is something to warm the cockles of your heart. (He is only 7years old)
I think my grandson are one of the reasons I want to get fit and healthy. We always joke and say that we would love to live long enough to become nuisance to them, so here goes....Down with the Weight, Up with the Health
