Good morning all. Am exhausted & dreading exercising today. Hardly slept at all last nyt, abt 2/3 hrs. Was wondering does the amount you sleep also affect your weight loss? Thank :-) have a good day everyone xx

From my latest limited understanding of weight loss and hormones relating to sleep, the hormones are busy beavouring  away, whilst you sleep, fixing and doing stuff, your body doesn't do whilst awake.

Lack of sleep and fluid play havoc, causing your body to crave more energy, which it seeks through high carb/ sugary foods.   I must add I get this with my bi polar, when I feel awful too, and I sleep loads too. ( luckily it's very short lived).

Take it easy today and eat normally

I agree with  Diana....poor sleep always leads me to  eat all the wrong things. Hope you manage to do exercise it'll help relieve the exhaustion and keep you on track
