Welcome, you don't have 1.5 stone to lose, you have 1lb, then another then another. You can't do it all in one go so baby steps it is. Goo luck x

Maiziepops is right...one pound at a time....the more slowly you lose it, the easier it will be to keep it off. I have found that to be true.,

In  April 2014, I was 2st overweight. I lost it slowly and steadily on 1400 cals over the coming year,  I reached my target (BMI 23 ) by April 2015. Now it is April 2016 and I'm still maintaining my target weight , within a pound or so, despite 2 holidays, christmas etc .  I'm also not a gym bunny, but I do now walk several hours a week and wear a pedometer.  I also still keep an eye on my total maintenance calories over the week ( in my case thats 1600, some days more some days less ) ..... and btw , Im 63  feeling ten years younger 😊
