First person noticed I've lost weight...
LOL! Well, at least they noticed!
I second what LotToLose said!
Ahh... bless you! But you must look a lot different! I've lost 1.5st and no ones noticed! So I'm not telling em!! 😁
I don't think I've lost enough to notice really, maybe just a slightly more flattering top! How gutting no one has spotted your loss, you maybe need to meet up with someone you haven't seen for a while?
I had the same - the worst moment was when a good friend, who I see frequently, clapped my husband on the back, saying "hey, you look good. Have you lost weight?". I screamed in my head "NO, he hasn't! I have". Pretty soon after that the comments started coming, but a lot of people also asked if I was ill.
I noticed and so did other people at 2 stone (weirdly). It was very sudden and came off my neck (!!) and it really changed my appearance!
I wonder if they weren't just a tad jealous.
lol ...Typical !!! ..... When my neighbour noticed I had lost weight ... she told me I was beginning to look normal ....!!!
I wasn't aware I was looking abnormal before but there you go ! That is just peoples lack of tact. I find the public very rude when it comes to commenting on other peoples weight. It is as if you are a non person and they make comments they wouldn't dream of doing otherwise.
The trick is to let it wash over you and continue with your plan
Congrats on your weight loss!
Oh no that's unbelievable! How rude, at least u have lost weight for people to realise though. There r plenty of people out there (like me) who sometimes get off track! X
Yes - happened to me too! I think they were being careful; and i understand why. Isn't it weird/sad though, that the first thing that we think is 'they must be ill' as opposed to 'they must be feeling great?!' At least you got to reassure them you were actually in the best health you'd been for ages!
Oh gosh, to be fair, someone did once compliment me on my great weight loss around 5 weeks after my mum passed away, to which I had to say it wasn't intentional, I had just been too depressed to eat... So I guess there's a reason people tread lightly!
It's frustrating how long it takes for people to notice and then when they do they think you look ill.It takes them awhile to adjust to the new you! I've had friends say don't lose any more. It's their problem, keep up the good work!
