Lost 0.5kg last week - all good, considering I didn't get the same amount of exercise in. Having a cold and balancing responsibilities whilst trying to lose weight is def a challenge. Need some quick and cheap pick me up ideas to cheer me up - any suggestions gratefully received and passed on

Well done you, over 1.1 lb down in old language. I am hoping to get that this week, normally aiming for over 2lb but seriously over did the exercise yesterday and can't move anything today... groan
Yay, a good loss, despite the challenges.
My pick-me-up advice is to go out and help someone else today, even if it is just to smile at a stranger or to share a friendly word with a neighbour.

Congratulations on losing 0.5kg last week, that is brilliant, especially considering the challenges you had with your cold and balancing your responsibilities.
Maybe think about something you haven't done for a long time, but used to really enjoy, and do some of whatever that is. Or get a nice book or magazine you've been wanting to read for a while. Maybe think about what things you feel proud of that you've achieved recently, to remind you of things you've done that have been good.
Maybe look out a new recipe to try? Or phone a friend you've not spoken to for a while - or look for a new exercise to try on the u-tube or online.

Further update...unbelievably I've lost a further 0.5 kilos. Think I need to recheck my scales! Hope everybody's day has been awesome
