Thank you for all your replies. Maybe if I have more fat with my high protein and veg lunch, I will avoid the afternoon cravings for crisps/sweets! Who knows.

Maybe you could have a sugar free jelly or a tiny portion of crisps to satisfy your cravings , rather than banishing it altogether? I find that I tend to binge on things that I tell myself are "not allowed". It works better for me when everything is allowed, but I have to manage the portion. Sometimes it is 2 or 3 pringles, rather than NO PRINGLES!
