Ok, so solutions then! About chocolate or ration it? I have Aldi choc and buy the bars mister Roth, with mini bars, I'm able to eat only one, if not don't buy it.
Ask yourself why you get drunk, can you not stick to one or two drinks?
Popcorn, corn makes me bloat, I think you need sone new healthy snack ideas, good luck! X

Hi Bonni1 I used to do quite a lot of travelling and often ended the day in a bar of one sort or another. I wanted to reduce my alcohol intake but still mix with the others I was working with. What I used to do, was order a glass or jug of water with my alcohol. This is quite common when drinking wine over lunch or dinner but, I used to also order water with spirits and beer in the evening.
Maybe not for everyone, but I found it very useful over an extended period.
Chocolates are a little harder for me to resist

First thing I am going to say may sound harsh, I don't mean it to be offensive but it occurs to me that you have a much bigger problem than the stone you want to lose. You don't say that you have a drink, you say you get drunk, this sounds like you have a very bad relationship with alcohol.
Alcohol, gram for gram, contains more calories than any other food group, it also caused untold damage to your liver if consumed in large quantities. It also takes away you inhibitions and can lead to binge eating.
My advice to you would be to quit the drinking, with assistance if you can't do it on your own. If you can't have a social drink without getting drunk this needs to be addressed.
Sort that out and the rest will follow. Time is not on your side if you want to lose a stone for February. Good luck, but the answer is in your own hands
Well let's do this. I need to lose 14/16lbs asap. I have quit the alcohol / wine for now. bloody hard, but I think if I keep busy, positive and exercise. someone told me to try hot water with honey and fresh lemon. the sugar crazing hence wine for me can be stopped. when you think about it. it's a habit. habits can and must be stopped. my goal is to have a wine now and than, not regular. keep going.
Personally for me the solution is to avoid it all together,when i have a taste of chocolate, I end up wanting more....very dark chocolate (80%) doesn't have that effect on me though, I can be satisfied on a little square, I guess is more the sugar in the chocolate than the cocoa itself that makes you crave it! It's an option.

You just need to think positively and stick to a healthy eating plan.
Cut down, or cut out the alcohol and chocolate and only eat plain popcorn.
You've already got a gym buddy, so you're well on the way to slipping into that dress with ease

Glad to hear you are tackling the alcohol problem, however drinking hot water with honey is not going to help your weight loss. Honey = sugar so may be not the best solution. Keep to a sensible balanced diet, try to increase your exercise but chiefly plan your weeks food. If you are prepared in advance it is so much easier. Good luck x
