That's my target too. I think it is very do-able. the twelve week plan on here is very helpful. Have already lost 4kg in the first two weeks by being really strict with myself. Plan everything out that you are going to eat and do not deviate from this at all. Good luck and be determined. Also, tell people about what you are doing - that is also what is making me stick to things.
Hey Clare. What type of foods do you eat for breakfast/lunch/dinner? What do you drink? I use a calorie counting app like myfitnesspal so help me keep track. I want to lose 2 stone by December. Do you workout?
I know how hard it is to loss weight my wife and I battle every week I don't eat right, and veg is not my favourite food but I must start to eat more Fruit and Veg because the benefit I get will help us both to lose the weight, I am on Movicol for digestion as the amount of meds I take for pain stops me going if you know what I mean. But I am going to start to change my diet and as I am borderline Diabetic 2 I must do it and I am not only doing it for me but fore my wife as well, I will keep you all up to date.

I abandoned calorie counting. Just eat good honest food, not much sugar, not too many carbs - bread, rice, potatoes etc. Always eat at a table, never in front of the TV or at your desk. Eat proper meals and no snacks. Not too much sweet stuff. Fresh fruit instead of puddings.
The key is not to think diet, more healthy eating, diet makes you crave what you had,by making changes and switching foods ie full fat milk to semi skimmed grill instead of frying marg instead of butter look at the calories in your bread, I try to have 60 call in my bread and not eat bread with a meal too, I've lost 3 stone since Jan doing this
