I am wondering if there is anyone in the same situation as me. I used to go to the gym 4 days a week and got quite fit until my husband had an operation and is now disabled due to the op failing. I have gone from the above lifestyle to working nights being the only one that can work, caring for my husband, looking after our home and looking after the 3 children we have left at home. I have also in that time had to have an hysterectomy and I have put so much weight on due to all the pressures and stresses at home. I have no motivation at all but I know I need to lose around 9 stone. If there is anyone that give me some advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there what we Beliver that if we Fix our Nutrition & Eat Right Amount of Food In Right time We lose Weight. If u don't mind Can I ask u one question! What do you have for Your Breakfast!
over body contain hundred trillion cells and to regenerate those hundred trillion cells need 114 different nutrients and minerals in our body to feed these Cell. Remember we Eat to feed our body cells & stomach is just a tool, its work for digesting food. If we don't feel these Body Cell Still these Cell get regenerate. But after the age of 18-20 these cell get weaker and then We Experience early aging factor means looking more older then we age. Early Aging Factor can effect out Health and Performance like not stress, headaches, enough energy, get tired very quickly feel hungry, Gaining weight 'n' Many Other Problems....
Goodness me you have been coping with a lot of stress. Sometimes when we have a lot to cope with, looking after ourselves gets pushed down the priority list. Irony is that you need to be healthy to do what you do.
Recognising the problem is step one.
I suggest you download the nhs 12 week plan and an app called myfitnesspal. The app is easy to use. It keeps a track of your calories as well as your nutritional needs.
Don't think of having 9 stone to lose. Aim to lose the first stone and take it from there.
Going to the gym is expensive and time consuming. To start I recommend walking more. Park short of your destination and walk. Take the stairs not the lift. Etc. Once you accomplish 10000 steps a day regularly try and add something else.
Don't think of being on a diet so much as getting healthier. Loving yourself enough to say no to what will get in the way of a healthier you.
There are lots of people here who have lost loads and are on a similar journey. Log in ofter you will get encouragement and support.
Although not in the same situation...I really believe you do need to look after you first....then you'll have the strength to do all the things you're doing
First of all breath. Take a big breath hold it for 10 and slowly let it go. You are under a lot of stress. You have to make time for you. You are in danger of depression. The good news is exercise will help you with the "feel good" factor. If you feeling good its easier to lose weight. You don't say how old your children are, you should get them to help out so you carve spare time for yourself. If they are younger, get a baby sitter or a friend to watch them. If you are working nights, you have to make sure your vitamin D is not low as this is another mood supplier. Get your Dr to check out your blood work. Once you have your space, find things you want to do meditate, yoga, gym, walk, read, go out and meet friends for a chat. You are just as important as all the other things going on in your life and you need time to be you. Then when you have you time, thats the time to take control of diet.
