Just back from a 5k run and feeling amazing. I am actually looking forward to a healthy days eating.
Did 60 minutes yoga last night which makes me appreciate my body, we really should treat it like a temple. And only do what's best for it, and we'll see and feel the rewards.
If anyone is struggling, I would just getting meditation a try. It has helped me many times over the years and although I drift away, I always come back the breath.
Namaste x

Hi Eatwell, I've also just done a run and am feeling amazing. It does help you keep your good intentions strong for the day as you don't want to undo the hard work of the run. I don't meditate but I do Alexander technique for my back and am a big believer in long hot baths. I also burn incense and drink more herbal tea than ever. What a bunch of hippies we are

I'm applying for jobs! Normally this gets put off big time. Some very positive-sounding emails and CVs have been getting fired off since I got back from my run
I haven't done yoga for over 30 years, not sure if my poor old bones would manage it anymore, lol. I do meditate though, as you say it is a huge help sometimes to the stressful and busy world we live in. Enjoy. 😊
Shellie,
There is a lady in my yoga class who hasn't done yoga for 30 years. There are great book on beginners yoga and chair yoga. It doesn't have to super energetic, some strengths and good breathing make a difference. Small steps 😃🙏🏻
